Currently being prepared for sale at Auto Classica.
Chassis R06100274 was among the first Land Rovers built for the 1950 model year, which began at Solihull in August 1949. It was registered in Huntingdonshire on 16 August 1949 and still carries its original number, GEW 696.
It spent more than two decades in West Sussex and has belonged since 2014 to the renowned Series One specialist John Taylor, who restored it to the exacting standard it still shows today.
