Why owners in north west London store out of town

The problem in this part of London is not that people do not want to keep their car nearby. It is that there is nowhere to keep it.

The housing is dense and largely Victorian or interwar terraced, which means no off-street parking for most of it and a rear access lane at best. What garaging exists tends to be a lock-up on a shared block: no heating, no ventilation control, a single up-and-over door, and neighbours who all have a key to their own unit and a clear view of yours.

Street parking a valuable car in a London borough is its own conversation, and most specialist insurers will want to have it with you before they quote.

So the practical choice is not usually between us and something better nearby. It is between us and a compromise.

What we are

We are a family-run business operating four discreet rural sites in North Bucks, fifteen minutes apart, with capacity for over 150 vehicles. We do not publish the addresses and visits are strictly by prior appointment. For cars of this value, discretion is part of the service rather than an obstacle to it.

Cars are stored indoors and dehumidified, kept on trickle charge where appropriate, and checked regularly. Detailing, MOT and servicing can be arranged before you collect, so the car is ready to drive rather than ready to recommission.

Making the hour work

Most of our clients from north west London visit three or four times a year rather than monthly, and time the trips around the driving season. Out on a Saturday morning in April, back in October.

There is also the rail option, which people forget. Euston to Central Milton Keynes is around 35 minutes, and Wembley is a short run to Euston. For a visit rather than a collection, the train is frequently quicker than the car.
