CAR STORAGE WATFORD

We are not in Watford, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.

Our facilities are in rural North Bucks, roughly fifty minutes up the M1 from Junction 5. For a car you drive daily, that would be too far. For a car you take out six times a year, it is the reason the arrangement works.

Why distance is the point

Storage close to Watford means storage inside the M25, and inside the M25 secure indoor space is expensive, scarce and usually shared. What is available tends to be a unit on an industrial estate: no climate control, shared access, and a roller shutter between your car and the road.

Forty miles north, the economics change completely. The space is rural, purpose-built and single-purpose. It costs less per square foot, which means we can afford to dehumidify it properly, monitor it continuously and keep the number of vehicles per site low.

The trade is straightforward. You give up ten minutes of proximity you would rarely use, and you get storage conditions you cannot buy locally at any sensible price.

What we are

We are a family-run business operating four discreet rural sites in North Bucks, fifteen minutes apart, with capacity for over 150 vehicles. We do not publish the addresses, and visits are strictly by prior appointment. For cars at this value, discretion is part of the service rather than an obstacle to it.

Cars are stored indoors and dehumidified, on trickle charge where appropriate, and checked regularly. Detailing, MOT and servicing can be arranged before you collect, so the car is ready to drive rather than ready to recommission.

Getting here from Watford

Straight up the M1 from Junction 5 to Junction 14, then a short run on local roads. Around fifty minutes outside rush hour, and the traffic runs the right way for it: you are leaving London as everyone else arrives.

Most of our clients from the Watford area visit three or four times a year, usually at the start and end of the driving season. It is a morning, not an expedition.
